Authors Information

This page will provide help and information to prepare and upload your final full paper for the 2023 IEEE Workshop on Power Electronics for Aerospace Applications (PEASA).

Key dates:​

  • 2 to 4 Page Digest Submission Deadline: 15th of April 2023 (This will be the final deadline)

  • Author Notification: 22th of May 2023

  • Final Paper Submission: 1st of July 2023, 4-to-6-page final paper, double column, extended digest submissions will be peer-reviewed by international experts.

Step 1 - View the submission information and submit 2-4 page digest

Please refer to the following submission information at CFP. and submit a 2-4 page "digest" submission using the submission portal: https://peasa23.edas.info/.

Step 2 - Prepare your final paper

The paper must be written in English using the available LaTeX or Microsoft Word templates for A4 format. Formatting may not be altered.

  • Templates available: https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.html

  • A minimum of 4 pages is required per paper in standard IEEE format.

  • The maximum number of pages is 6.

  • This version shall include the authors’ names and affiliations.

  • After presentation at the workshop, accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements.

Step 3 - Final Submission Check

  • Please use the pdfeXpress tool to create the pdf using the following conference ID: 58318X

  • pdfeXpress can be found here: https://ieee-pdf-express.org/account/login

  • In case of using the IEEE Latex template, please make sure the header line states it is in A4 formatted: \documentclass[conference,a4paper]{IEEEtran}

  • Secondly, please include the following geometry definition for A4 format:

       \usepackage{geometry}

       \geometry{

       a4paper,

       left=15.7mm,

       right=15.7mm,

       top=19.1mm,

       bottom=43mm,

       }​

  • And thirdly, in case of gutter problems: To change the gutter between the columns, AFTER \documentclass[conference,a4paper]{IEEEtran}, there needs to be the following command include \setlength\columnsep{0.25in}.
